I'm Emilija, and I photograph families, couples and christenings across Lithuania. What I love most isn't the perfectly arranged pose — it's the second right after it, when everyone forgets the camera and simply belongs to each other again.
I work slowly and quietly. I let children run, let parents breathe, and wait for the small gestures that say more than any posed portrait ever could: a hand smoothing hair, a shoulder leaned on, a laugh that arrives out of nowhere.
Years from now, you won't remember what you wore. You'll remember how it felt to be together on that particular afternoon — and that is exactly what I try to hand back to you.

My approach
Photography should never feel stressful.
Most people tell me they don't know what to do in front of a camera. That's welcome news — you don't need to. I offer gentle guidance instead of stiff instructions: where to stand, where the light is warmest, and then something simple to do together.
We keep everyone moving naturally. Walking, whispering, lifting a child, sharing a joke — movement loosens shoulders and lets real expressions surface. Children are never asked to sit still or smile on command.
Before the session I'll send thoughtful preparation notes: what to wear, the best light for your day, how to time things around naps and meals, and what to bring so nobody is hungry or hurried.
Above all, the experience is unhurried. We take the time your family needs, and if a mood turns, we pause. Nothing good ever comes from rushing people who love each other.
